About the Project

Drawings for a Monument is a generative series exploring the development of a minimalist monument to Art Blocks. Each drawing pays tribute to a different project from the Curated collection, examining its color expression within a linear framework. The algorithm translates the chromatic identity of each Curated project into geometric studies with pencil guidelines, colored rectangles, and black outlines. Physical Drawings

Collectors now have the opportunity to purchase a unique physical artwork from the collection. The physical drawings match the digital tokens with the same project tribute, composition, and color palette. Each artwork is an archival pigment print with graphite and black colored pencil overdrawing. Artworks measure 9" × 12" and are signed and numbered verso.

There are two ways to acquire a physical artwork. Existing token holders can commission a unique physical artwork of their output. One physical drawing is available per token. In addition, pre-existing inventory is offered as a bundle that includes both the physical artwork and its corresponding digital token. After purchase, the digital token will be transferred to your Art Blocks account.

Shipping

The physical artworks are individually created by hand as orders are received. The approximate lead time is 4-6 weeks from purchase to shipment, though this may extend depending on order volume. Customers will be notified of any changes to the production timeline that may affect their order. Tracking information will be provided when your drawing ships. Given the unique nature of these hand-made works, returns cannot be accepted. If your drawing arrives damaged or if you have concerns about your order, please reach out.

Token Commission

To commission a physical drawing, you must hold the corresponding digital artwork in your wallet at the time of purchase, and the physical drawing must still be available for that token. Please check the Project Attributes of a token to verify its availability.
